A day at school

  1. 8:00 a.m.

    Assembly & Breakfast

    The day begins together, then breakfast.

  2. 8:45 a.m.

    Classes

    Fifty-minute periods with a water and play break.

  3. 1:30 p.m.

    Lunch

    In the dining hall with friends and teachers.

  4. 2:00 p.m.

    Guided Study

    Supervised self-study and academic discussion.

  5. 4:30 p.m.

    Homeward Bound

    Refreshments, then the vans leave for home.

Full daily timetable

Time What happens
8:00 – 8:15 a.m. Morning assembly with the boarders. A few moments to remember God together, then announcements from the Principal and senior students on everything from sport to discipline.
8:15 – 8:45 a.m. Breakfast.
8:45 – 11:15 a.m. Classes. Periods change every fifty minutes, and teachers make sure every child gets individual attention.
11:15 – 11:30 a.m. Water break. Time to drink water, freshen up and play for a few minutes.
11:30 a.m. – 1:10 p.m. Back to class for two shorter sessions.
1:30 – 2:00 p.m. Lunch in the dining hall with friends and teachers.
2:00 – 4:30 p.m. Afternoon periods, including supervised self-study and academic discussion.
4:30 p.m. Refreshments, and the vans leave for home.
